Violinist Yi-Jia Susanne Hou will make her New West Symphony debut in the second Masterpiece Series concert of the symphony’s 15th anniversary season. The performance will include Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major, Opus 55, “Eroica.”

The program will be presented at 8 p.m. Sat., Nov. 14 at the Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

Hou is the first violinist to win three gold medals with unanimous decisions at international violin competitions in France, Italy and Spain.
