The Simi Valley Elks Lodge will host the annual Hoop Shoot contest for all boys and girls ages 8 to 13 at noon on Sat., Nov. 14 at the Elks Lodge, 1561 Kuehner Drive, Simi Valley. 

There is no fee to participate. The Elks will have free hot dogs and participation certificates.

The Hoop Shoot is a freethrow shooting contest.
