The Simi Valley City Council will have a brief street name dedication ceremony for the newly named Veterans Plaza Parkway at 4 p.m. Mon., Nov. 9 at the intersection of Alamo Street and the driveway entrance to the Department of Motor Vehicles/Ventura County Courthouse, 3855 Alamo St.

The driveway will be named Veterans Plaza Parkway to recognize the contribution of veterans to the community..

Members of veterans’ organizations and the community are invited to attend.
