RIDE TO THE FINISH LINE—Simi Valley residents Kady Doody on Pepsi and Janene White on Keno finish the 47th annual ETI Death Valley Endurance Trail Ride of 125 miles in six days. GOOD CATCH—Susan Stolla of Simi Valley catches a nice brown trout while on vacation in East Walker River in Bridgport, Calif. Apparently, people do use the Simi Valley Acorn for wrapping fish. PILOT LITE—Chad Agruso, 5, of Simi Valley sits in the captain’s seat of a private jet and pretends he’s the one flying the craft to Kona, Hawaii. Mom Christie Agruso sent in the picture. DISNEY MAGIC—Pluto gives a big hug to brothers Sean Sandoval, Francisco Sandoval Jr. and John Hannon at Disneyland in Anaheim. PALM TREE PARADISE—Brothers Kyle and Dylan Widemer of Simi Valley enjoy their tropical beverages at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, Hawaii. REUNION—Gary Pistole of Simi Valley, along with Paul, Bruce and Brandon, check out Apollo 11 at a museum. In the 1960s, Pistole was stationed on the USS Hornet, which retrieved the capsule.
