White House should stop criticizing Fox News
The White House attacks on the Fox News Channel are getting a little out of hand, don’t you think?
Last week started off again discussing the ridiculous comments made by Anita Dunn of the Obama administration with regards to Fox News. She referred to the people at Fox as “ideological opponents” when asked if Obama was going to appear in an interview with someone on the network.
So now because conservatives at Fox are criticizing the president, they are now considered to be “opponents” of the White House? Are you kidding me?
She also made the strange statement regarding Fox’s journalism capabilities in this quote: “Let’s not pretend (Fox) is a real news network like CNN.”
Who is this looney-tune from the left, and where did she come from? She is not only attacking conservative Fox News about the things they say, she is accusing them of being mere “commentators” rather than news reporters and journalists.
This is yet another example of the type of person that Obama is surrounding himself with. And, as a result of her comments, the White House, David Axlerod and Rahm Emanuel have all supported her in this debate.
So I guess when CNN or MSNBC attack the behavior of a Republican politician or president, that’s good journalism. But if Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck criticizes the actions of the Obama administration, that’s cause for a fight and they’re not real reporters. Talk about a double standard.
Why doesn’t Obama simply conduct an interview with someone from Fox, you ask? Because he’s afraid of a real interview with real tough questions.
It is apparent to me and many others in our conservative Simi Valley community that our First Amendment rights are under attack like never before in our history. It has been made wrong to disagree with what the White House is doing.
That is a dangerous mentality, and I hope that others in our area not only see that but are fighting to preserve our constitutional rights.
Keep up the good work, Fox News, and thanks for bringing us the truth about what’s happening in the world. Joe Panzarello Simi Valley
