Local Hadassah putting on gift exchange fundraiser
      Simi Valley/Moorpark’s Hadassah group, L’Dor Vador, will host the fourth annual white elephant fundraiser from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sun., Nov. 8 at Marie Callender’s, 20 Cochran St., Simi Valley. The cost is $25 and includes lunch and pie.

Simi theater group doing play loosely based on Genesis
      The Actors’ Repertory Theatre of Simi presents the musical “Children of Eden” by Stephen Schwartz and John Caird at 8 p.m. tonight, Oct. 30, through Dec. 6 at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, 3050 Los Angeles Ave. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays and a special 2 p.m. performance tomorrow, Oct. 31.

St. Peter Claver to host annual holiday bazaar
      St. Peter Claver Catholic Church will host its 17th annual holiday boutique from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., Nov. 7 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun., Nov. 8 at the Parish Center, corner of Cochran and Stow streets, Simi Valley. The boutique will feature more than 70 booths selling handcrafted items, crafts, jewelry, clothing, children’s clothing and toys.

Different faiths will dine together
      The Ventura County Interfaith Community will host a “Feast of Faiths,” a dinner with people from a variety of faiths, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 5 at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, 4345 Las Posas Road, Camarillo. Vegetarian, halal and kosherstyle dinners will be served.
