The Free Clinic of Simi Valley announces its annual Make A Difference Day, where residents can receive free flu shots, health screenings and information about the clinic’s services, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 24, at the Free Clinic, 2060 Tapo St., Simi Valley. 

The following services will be offered.

•Flu shots administered by three volunteers as directed by a school nurse.

•Health screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension or sexually transmitted diseases as requested.

•Distribution of educational materials with tips for healthy living and parenting.

•Arts and crafts for children sponsored by the clinic’s therapists.

•MediCal and Medicare assistance for seniors.

The Free Clinic of Simi Valley provides medical services as a nonprofit, volunteer-based community service organization.
