Simi Valley Girls Softball will accept registrations for the spring 2010 season through Nov. 15. Parents can register online or attend one of the information and walk-up registration events at Big Sky Park, 2251 Lost Canyons Drive, Simi Valley.

The walk-up registration will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wed., Oct. 28 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., Nov. 7.

Birth certificate copies are required for all new players.

All those registering after Nov. 15 will be placed on a waiting list, and players cannot be

guaranteed placement on a team. Player evaluations will be in January 2010.  Game play will begin in late February, and the season will end in May. The league serves girls ages 4½ through 16.  The cost is $110 for the T-ball division (ages 4½ to 6) and $140 for the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U divisions. Late registrations will cost an additional $25. Simi Valley Girls Softball served 500 players in each of the past two seasons, and had several successful all-star teams in multiple divisions.

The 10U placed third and the 12U placed fourth in the Amateur Softball Association of America Western National Championship tournaments.
