Vets no longer must battle bumpy sidewalk


ACTION TAKEN—In August the Simi Valley Acorn series “What’s up with that?” featured a letter from a resident concerned about the bumpy, cracked asphalt in front of Simi Valley’s VFW Post on Los Angeles Avenue. This week, the paper received a release and photo from Public Works announcing that city crews had completed work on the sidewalk in response to the resident’s concern.
