•The Royal High School boys’ basketball team will host the third annual community swap meet for their spring fundraiser from 7 a.m. to noon Sat., Oct. 24 in the west parking lot at Royal High School.

The team is requesting donations of items to be sold.

Individuals in the community can sell their own items for a booth rental of $25, which will also go to benefit the boys’ basketball team.

A truck will be available the night before for any large items to be delivered.

•The Simi High Cross Country team will host an eating-out fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Tues., Oct. 20 at Soup Plantation at the Simi Valley Town Center.

Proceeds will go to benefit the team. Mention the Simi High Cross Country team when purchasing meals.
