Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District presents the Sycamore Battle of the Bands from 8 to 11 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 17 at Sycamore Drive Community Center, 1692 Sycamore Drive, Simi Valley.

The bands for October will be Seventh City Fall Out, Left on Bromely and Curicula. The show is for all ages. Security will be provided. The event will have no alcohol, no smoking and no in-and-out privileges. The cover charge is $10.

The competition will continue on Nov. 7 with the bands Sleight of Hand, Ace Bandits and Triple Threat.

Right of Light, the winner of the first event, in September, will move on to the final competition on Dec. 12.

The winners from October and November will also compete in December for the grand prize of $2,000.
