Sept. 30

During a parole/probation search in the 2000 block of Sycamore Drive, officers arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

At E. Los Angeles Avenue and First Street, a 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a tool with the intent to break into a building or vehicle.

Oct. 1

A woman, 45, was arrested and charged with identity theft.

At the Costco in the 2600 block of Park Center Drive, a man, 39, was arrested and charged with theft.

In the 2200 block of Birch Glen Avenue, a man, 36, was arrested and charged with stealing a vehicle.

At E. Los Angeles Avenue and Williams Street, a woman, 23, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at Lark Street and Ish Drive and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Oct. 2

In the 900 block of Ashland Avenue, a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics.

At Tapo and Eileen streets, a 20year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale.

The following were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a man, 19, at Vanessa and E. Cochran streets and a man, 31, after allegedly causing an accident at Royal Avenue and First Street.

In the 1500 block of Rory Lane, a man, 39, was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics.

At the Simi Valley Batting Cages in the 2000 block of Donville Avenue, a 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a switchblade.

Oct. 3

At E. Los Angeles and Yosemite avenues, a 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after fleeing the scene of an accident.

Oct. 4

The following were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a 27year-old man after allegedly causing a noninjury accident in the 2000 block of Sycamore Drive, and a 22year-old man in the 600 block of Watson Avenue.

A man, 47, was arrested in the 3900 block of Alamo Street and charged with the transportation or sale of a controlled substance.

Oct. 5

In the 1300 block of E. Cochran Street, a 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after causing an injury accident.

A 27-year-old man was arrested in the 5700 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue and charged with possession of narcotics.

Oct. 6

Officers responded to a call of malicious mischief in progress at Donville and E. Los Angeles avenues and arrested nine men who were charged with entering and remaining on the property of a railroad without the permission of the owner and whose presence, if continued, would interfere with or hinder the safe operation of a train.

A 19-year-old man and a 23-yearold woman were arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.

At E. Los Angeles Avenue and Stearns Street, a 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance.

An 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon at Fourth Street and California Avenue.

Oct. 7

An 18-year-old man was arrested in the 5700 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue and charged with the unlawful possession of an alcoholic beverage.

In the 3900 block of Heritage Oak Court, a 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

At Sleepy Hollow and Corto streets, a 24-year-old man was arrested on a charge of attempted murder.
