I went shopping Saturday at Ralphs on Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley.

I noticed a young gentleman wandering around the store. He would come down my aisle and just stare at me.

He was also doing this to other women in the store. I became suspicious and asked an employee to contact the manager because I felt he may be a purse thief.

Another shopper came up and also had the same concern as I. The young man was leaving the store at the same time as I was so I walked out with the other customer. He just stood against the store wall.

When I got home I was going to contact the police department but my husband wanted to go back to the store. This gentleman was back wandering in the store when we arrived. He said he was waiting for his mom, but I did not see him with anyone the hour I was there.

We directed him to the manager, and he was told to leave the store. I’ve lived in Simi Valley for 18 years and this is the first time anything like this has happened to me. I just want everyone to be aware. Ann Green Simi Valley
