The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura will host a free seminar titled “Christian Perspectives on Coping with Cancer” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 15 at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village.

Steven Day, shepherding pastor at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village, will speak on how to cope with daily realities and uncertainties of living with cancer and finding meaning and hope from a Christ-centered, biblically based perspective.

The talk is open to people with cancer, cancer survivors and family members.
