The Simi Valley Council on Aging is looking for qualified seniors to fill two-year terms starting Feb. 1, 2010, on the executive board.

The council meets from 1 to 3 p.m. the second Monday of the month at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

Applicants must be age 60 or older and resident within the city.

Board members act as advisers to the City Council on senior issues. They also conduct fundraising activities to support services for local seniors

Applications may be picked up from the senior center and are due by Mon., Nov. 9.
