Thankful Kadota-Fig zoning won’t change
A huge victory was achieved on Tuesday for the residents of the Kadota-Fig area of Simi Valley after the City Council and planning commission members voted unanimously to leave the neighborhood zoned as it is rather than change it as was proposed on the city of Simi Valley’s proposed General Plan.
A big thank-you to the 170plus residents of the Kadota-Fig neighborhood who showed up to show their support and voice their opinions about the proposed zoning changes to the area and to the people who were not able to show up but signed the petitions for no change.
I would also like to thank the members of the Simi Valley City Council and planning commission for listening to what the property owners had to say and making a decision based on our input. Lisa Atwood Simi Valley
