Acorn readers are invited to visit www.theacorn.com and cast a vote for the winners of this year’s Take Your Acorn on Vacation photo contest.

In the past, Acorn staff members chose the winners, but this year, it’s up to you to decide which photos are worthy of the prize money. It’s easy to do.

Just go to the website, www.theacorn.com, choose one or more of the five Acorn publications, and vote for the photo in each paper you think is best based on fun and creativity.

Only one vote is allowed per computer per edition. The deadline to vote is Mon., Oct. 12. Winners will be announced Fri., Oct. 16.

And don’t forget: Next time you go on a trip, be sure to “Take Your Acorn on Vacation.”

Just grab a copy of your edition of the Acorn and shoot a photo with people, scenery and an Acorn front page. Include your name, address, phone number and a brief caption.
