Webelos Woods is an adventure designed to introduce fifthand sixth-grade boys and their parents to local Boy Scout troops.

Boys in Simi Valley and Moorpark are invited to experience Webelos Woods from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., Oct. 10 at Corriganville Park, 7001 Smith Road, Simi Valley.

Participants will get to know the people in the troops, how the Scouting program works and each troop’s activities. Webelos Woods helps boys and their parents choose a Boy Scout troop to join.

During the event, boys may take part in outdoor activities such as archery, BB gun shooting, air cannon marksmanship and other individual and team activities.
