The Simi Valley Community council will meet for a no-host lunch at 11:30 a.m. Thurs., Oct. 8 at the Lost Canyons Golf Club, 3301 Lost Canyons Drive, Simi Valley.

The guest speaker will be Bill Nash, public information and marketing officer for the Ventura County Fire Department.

The meetings provide a forum for members to share their experiences and upcoming events.
