Sunrise Senior Living has opened its newest senior-living community in Simi Valley, Sunrise of Wood Ranch, at 190 Tierra Rejada Road.

The new twostory community will provide individualized care and services to more than 96 residents who need assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management and eating. Team members will provide daily activities, programs and meals to residents.

The community includes views of the Simi Valley mountains, parlors with fireplaces, spacious high-ceiling rooms and Sunrise signatures like fresh flowers and community pets.

Sunrise at Wood Ranch is the first community in Ventura County to offer Terrace Club, a program exclusive to Sunrise, which offers cognitively stimulating programs to those in the earlier stages of memory loss. The program offers special dietary and fitness programs that encourage brain health and also supplies tools that help compensate for memory loss, including personalized daily calendars and designated care partners that assist the resident.

Sunrise also operates communities in Westlake Village and Camarillo.
