I have been reading the Acorn for a long time. Most of its contents are very interesting, and I have, in the past, commented on a few.

I enjoy reading about my community, but I must tell you, I am so tired of reading all the whining about this barking dog issue.

You somehow even got the City Council members actually getting paid to have meetings on the issue, like they need something else to put into law.

Here’s a great idea. Honest. I did it, and it works.

I have a 2-year-old English bulldog named Vinny. He is one of the hardest dogs to get to listen when he doesn’t feel like it, but I actually took the time and I trained him not to bark all the time or to stop barking when I said the word “quiet.”

Wow, what a concept, training your dog not to do something you don’t want him to do.

It looks like it’s either this or have another ordinance slapped on us. I personally know of six dog training businesses in Simi Valley.
