Northridge Hospital hosting Parkinson’s lecture tomorrow

The American Parkinson Disease Association Regional Information and Referral Center at the Center for Aging Research and Education will host PD 101, a free annual seminar, on Sat., Sept. 12 at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in the educational auditorium.

The seminar is for newly diagnosed patients and their families and for anyone who would like an update on medication management and the latest research.

A complimentary luncheon is provided from noon to 1 p.m. The educational program will be from 1 to 3 p.m.

The speaker will be Dr. Dee Silver, a movement disorder specialist and medical director of the Parkinson’s Disease Association of San Diego.

The seminar provides an opportunity to gain information and to connect with people who are also facing Parkinson’s disease.

Parking is validated for $1 or is free with a disabled placard.
