Simi Valley property owners who have tumbleweeds, weeds or debris on their parcels will be receiving notices from the Department of Community Services asking them to abate the overgrowth and debris.

Owners need to complete the property clearance by Oct. 30 before overgrowth and debris become a nuisance and hazard to the public.
