Harriette A Walsh 1926 -2009 Simi Valley, CA died Sunday, Aug 23, 2009 at Simi Valley Care Center. Born in Monroe, LA, May 25, 1926, daughter to Nathan P & Hazel Dotson White. She grew up in Concord NH where she graduated from Concord High School in 1943; went on to the University of NH to pursue the field of medical technology. She continued her career to become the evening supervisor at North Adams Regional Hospital in North Adams MA prior to retiring.

She married Harold W. Ayer, Jr. in 1947. She spent many happy years summering and raising her family between Lake Massasecum in Bradford, NH and Henniker, NH. She enjoyed the NH seacoast and an occasional lobster cookout at Hilton Park in Portsmouth, NH. Harold predeceased her in 1968.

She married Daniel A Walsh in North Walpole, NH. July 12, 1975. They resided in Pownal, VT for many years. Daniel predeceased her in 1996.

She wintered in California with her brother, Nathan P. White Jr., and his wife Guyneth for several years moving to Vintage Paseo, Simi Valley, CA permanently in 2004.

She was an avid reader with a book in hand at any given moment. She was an excellent cook and crafts person from knitting, oil painting, including a legacy of hand painted and fired ceramics that will be enjoyed for years to come. She had a soft spot for Siamese, loved her cats and had several of all breeds throughout her life. She always loved good jokes and funny stories. Bus trips to Casinos and bingo were her favorite past times.

She leaves her son John D. Ayer of Bellows Falls, VT and daughter Jayne Ayer Anderson King of Claremont, NH. Grandson’s Heath E. Anderson of Springfield, VT with her Great Granddaughter, Natalie Mae. Clint W Anderson and his wife Megan of White River, Jct. with her Great-grandson, Owen Jason.

She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Memorial services will be private.
