The Simi Valley Council on Aging will host its annual Wellness and Information Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wed., Sept. 9 at the Simi Valley Senior Center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

The expo will feature more than 50 agencies that specialize in providing resources for seniors.

Information will be available on health and social services, legal assistance, longterm care, housing, adult education, and equipment and resources to help seniors age actively and gracefully.

Health screenings and services will be available at no charge on a firstcome, firstserved basis.

Echo Tech Imaging will offer carotid artery screenings. Anthem Blue Cross and Buena Vista Hospice will provide complimentary chair massages. Community Medical Group and Regal Medical Group will provide bone density screening. Simi Valley Hospital will offer glucose screening, blood pressure and grip testing.

Instructors who teach exercise classes at the senior center will offer condensed versions of their classes in the fitness room.
