Last week’s front page story about the murder conviction of 24-year-old Daniel Ramirez stated that Ramirez’s first victim, Angel Luevano, was a rival gang member. He was not. Luevano, an innocent victim, was shot to death in December 2003 after a confrontation with Ramirez outside a vehicle on Ashland Avenue.
