Aug. 15

The following were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a 23year-old man at Aristotle Street and Madera Road, and a 21-year-old Pacoima man at the 118 Freeway and Tapo Canyon Road.

Aug. 16

In the 1900 block of Clarkia Street, a 41-year-old man was arrested and charged with violating a protective/restraining order.

The following were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a 23year-old North Hills woman at Yosemite Avenue and Katherine Street, and a 31-year-old man in the 2800 block of E. Cochran Street.

A 48-year-old man from Oxnard was arrested in the 1400 block of Rambling Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 17

In the 4100 block of Valley Fair Street, a 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A 27-year-old woman from Tujunga was arrested and charged with identity theft.

Aug. 18

A 24-year-old male transient was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon at the In-N-Out Burger in the 2600 block of Stearns Street.

At Rancho Tapo Community Park in the 3700 block of Avenida Simi, a 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon.

A man, 19, was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property in the 3100 block of China Fir Place.

At Crocker Street and Royal Avenue, a 47-year-old woman was arrested and charged with battery against a peace officer.

Aug. 19

At the Simi Valley Batting Cages in the 2000 block of Donville Avenue, a 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with vandalism resulting in less than $400 in damage.

During a parole/probation search in the 2800 block of Dalhart Avenue, a 23-year-old man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana for sale.

At Erringer Road and Patricia Avenue, a 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after causing a noninjury accident.

A 25-year-old Moorpark man and a 21-year-old woman were arrested in the 2100 block of Heather Street and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

A man, 27, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at Donner Avenue and Fitzgerald Road.

In the 2300 block of Kuehner Drive, a 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana while driving.

Aug. 20

Officers responded to a call about a fight in the 900 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue and arrested a 20-year-old man on a charge of underage possession of an alcoholic beverage.

At Sycamore Drive and the 118 Freeway, a 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Aug. 21 The following were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: a 21-year-old man in the 2400 block of Heywood Street, a 43-year-old man in the 4500 block of E. Cochran Street and a 34-year-old woman in the 4200 block of Angela Street.

A woman, 45, was arrested in the 100 block of Bolam Court and charged with domestic infliction of corporal injury.

Aug. 22

Officers responded to a call of a loud party in progress in the 5700 block of Velvet Oak Court and cited an 18-year-old Northridge man for alleged underage possession of an alcoholic beverage.

The following were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a 29year-old man at the 118 Freeway and Sycamore Drive, a 29-year-old Thousand Oaks man at Erringer Road and the westbound 118 Freeway, a 42-year-old Moorpark woman at Royal Avenue and First Street, and a 22-year-old man who reportedly caused an accident at Royal Avenue and First Street.

In the 1100 block of Tivoli Lane, a 28-year-old man from Moorpark was arrested on charges of domestic battery.

A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after causing an injury accident in the 2900 block of Kadota Street.
