Grateful to store owner who returned wallet

Honest citizens still exist.

A few days ago as I left Union Bank on Tapo Street my wallet fell out of my purse. I had no idea of this until I went to pay for a purchase later in the afternoon.

I panicked, thinking the worst—that I would have to cancel all of my credit cards and had just lost a considerable amount of cash.

I retraced my steps to see if I could find the lost wallet. By then the bank had closed for the day.

When I returned home I had a message on my answering machine to call them. Until the next morning when the bank opened I prepared myself for an empty wallet and a considerable headache ahead—of canceling my credit cards, getting a new driver’s license, insurance cards, etc., etc.

When I went to the bank the next morning I asked who had found my wallet. They said I had dropped it in front of the store next door and the owner had returned it.

I was so pleasantly surprised to find everything intact in my wallet. John Cole, the owner of Easy Life Medical Supplies, is an honest citizen of our city.

I can’t thank him enough. If you need any healthcare supplies, he has it all. Most of all he is honest, caring and someone I would want to give my business to. So next time you need anything larger than a Band-Aid, please give him your business. Pam Hamer Simi Valley
