The sixth Vino Jazz Festival will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Sat., Sept. 12 at Simi Valley Town Center.

The event is the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Foundation’s major fundraiser. Proceeds are used to support the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center.

The festival headliner is jazz violinist Karen Briggs, who spent 13 years recording and touring with contemporary instrumental keyboard composer Yanni.

Briggs has also performed with Diana Ross, Wynton Marsalis, Soul II Soul, En Vogue, the Wu Tang Clan, Chaka Khan and Kenny Loggins.

Participating wineries and additional performers are still being finalized.

Event tickets are $50.
