On the corner of Yosemite Avenue and Alamo Street, a 38year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

A 23-year-old Lakewood man was arrested and charged with burglary.

The following were arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance: a 48-year-old man in the 4500 block of Alamo Street, a 31-year-old man in the 1300 block of Mellow Lane and a 34-year-old man in the 1600 block of E. Cochran Street.

On the corner of Planetree and N. Granby avenues, a 30-year-old woman was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale.

Aug. 13

An 18-year-old man was arrested for robbery on the corner of Borden Street and Fitzgerald Road. A 19-year-old man was arrested on the same charge.

A 24-year-old transient woman was arrested on the corner of Erringer Road and E. Cochran Street and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or narcotics addict. A 20-year-old Visalia man was arrested in the same incident for the unlawful possession of a weapon.

On the corner of Fort Worth Drive and Tapo Street, a 39yearold man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

At the 7-Eleven in the 1800 block of E. Cochran Street, an 18year-old male transient was arrested for committing vandalism resulting in more than $400 in damage.

A man, 40, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription on the corner of E. Larch Street and Erringer Road. In the same incident, a 58-year-old man was arrested on a bench warrant.

On the corner of Tapo Canyon Road and Royal Avenue, a 21yearold man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 32yearold man and a 45year-old man were arrested on the corner of Stearns Street and the eastbound 118 Freeway and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A man, 52, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and causing a non-injury accident on the corner of Fitzgerald and Appleton roads.

On the corner of E. Los Angeles and Donville avenues, a 51-year-old man from Lancaster was arrested for the unlawful possession of a weapon.

Aug. 14

The following were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a 40-year-old Moorpark woman on the corner of Madera Road and the 118 Freeway and a 21-year-old man in the 2800 block of Tapo Street.

A 22-year-old man was arrested for reckless driving in the 1900 block of Tapo Street.

On the corner of E. Los Angeles and Yosemite avenues, an 18yearold man was arrested for the illegal possession of an alcoholic beverage.

A man, 23, was arrested on the corner of Sycamore Drive and Racine Street and charged with possession of any tool with the intent to break into a building or vehicle.

Near Houghton-Schreiber Park in the 4300 block of Township Avenue, officers responded to a call of a fight in progress and arrested an 18-year-old man for possession of a controlled substance.

In the 2600 block of E. Phipps Avenue, a 57-year-old man was arrested for battery.
