A seminar on federal and state basic payroll tax will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tues., Aug. 25 at the Job and Career Center, 980 Enchanted Way, Ste. 105, Simi Valley Room, Simi Valley.

Participants will learn reporting requirements for state and federal payroll, independent contractor, and electronic filing.
