The California Waves U-14 softball team is looking for experienced players for all positions.

Tryouts will be held Aug. 22 and Aug. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rancho Simi Park.

The Waves are based out of Simi Valley and are affiliated with the U-18 Waves Gold team, which has been playing ball for 30 years.

The Waves’ coaches each have more than 15 years experience from the high school level through the U-18 Gold level, and the coaches do not have daughters on the team.

The goal of the team will be to develop the skills of the players so that they may be successful players at their high schools and at higher levels of travel ball.
