Putting the ‘friendly’ in Friendly Village


HELPING OUR VETS—Simi Valley  residents Judy Pfeil, Paula Malloy, Gene Malloy and Jason Haag pose for a picture recently after loading up an SUV with nearly 700 items intended for homeless veterans attending the Ventura County Stand Down in Ventura on July 24-26. The goods were donated by residents of Simi’s Friendly Village mobile home park during a two-month-long drive organized by the Malloys and included sunglasses, wallets, trousers, shoes, underwear, shirts, jackets and personal care items.
