Artists from the Doyon Studio and Gallery of Camarillo will take part in an exhibition titled “Splash 2009 Impressionism/Pointillism” through Aug. 30 at the Thousand Oaks Community Gallery, 2331 Borchard Road, next to the Newbury Park Library.

The artists’ reception will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Fri., Aug. 7. Gallery hours are 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Show director Phyllis Doyon will conduct a watercolor workshop from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sun., Aug. 9 and a watercolor collage workshop Sat., Aug. 15 at the gallery. The fee for each workshop is $35.
