At Socrates Avenue and Aristotle Street, a man, 26, was arrested July 14 on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested July 14 and charged with shoplifting from Rite Aid in the 1100 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue.

At N. Emory and E. Los Angeles avenues, a man, 28, was arrested July 14 and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon.

On July 14 in the 1600 block of Fawn Chase Lane, officers responded to an assault that had just occurred and arrested a 58-year-old man on a battery charge.

A man, 40, was arrested July 14 in the 1800 block of Edgewood Drive and charged with domestic infliction of corporal injury.

On July 15 and 16, two men and three women were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. One incident involved a hit-and-run accident and two other incidents involved an injury accident.

In the 2300 block of E. Kentfield Street, a 20-year-old man was arrested July 15 and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance.

At Erringer Road and E. Cochran Street, a 27-year-old man was arrested July 15 and charged with using false documents to conceal his resident alien status.

A man, 20, was arrested in the 2800 block of Thicket Place and charged with burglary July 16.

On July 16 a man, 32, was arrested and charged with domestic infliction of corporal injury in the 1700 block of First Street.

At the CVS pharmacy in the 2800 block of E. Cochran Street, a man, 20, was arrested July 17 and charged with burglary.

In the 1500 block of Moreno Drive, a 23-year-old woman was arrested July 18 on a charge of domestic battery.

At Tapo Canyon Road and the 118 Freeway, a 20-year-old woman was cited for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia July 18. She was arrested again for the same offense July 20 in the 2100 block of Snowberry Court.

A man, 18, was arrested July 18 at the Taco Bell in the 1400 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana for sale.

At Extended Stay America hotel in the 2400 block of Stearns Street, a man, 27, was arrested July 18 and charged with possession of a tool with the intent to break into a building or vehicle.

In the 900 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, an 18-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were arrested July 19 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

On July 19 a man, 20, was arrested and charged with shoplifting at the Costco in the 2600 block of Park Center Drive.

At Fitzgerald Road and Beachnut Avenue, a 21-year-old man was arrested July 20 for alleged possession of a tool with the intent to break into a building or vehicle. A male transient, 25, was also arrested for alleged violation of parole.

On July 20, officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred at E. Cochran Street and Erringer Road and arrested a man, 19, on a robbery charge. A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with conspiracy.

In the 3100 block of N. Peoria Avenue, a woman, 44, was arrested and charged with battery against a peace officer July 20. She was arrested again the next day at the 99 Cents Only store in the 2200 block of Tapo Street and charged with theft.

The following were arrested July 21 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a woman, 23, at Tapo and E. Cochran streets, and a man, 28, who reportedly caused a noninjury accident at First Street and Royal Avenue.

A man, 32, was arrested at Yosemite Avenue and E. Cochran Street and charged with reckless driving while evading a police officer July 21.

On July 22, a 23-year-old Reseda man was arrested at Erringer Road and Arcane Street and charged with vandalism resulting in less than $400 of damage.

In the 5700 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, a 66-year-old man was arrested July 22 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

At the Shell gas station in the 2300 block of Tapo Street, a 24yearold man was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics July 22.

A man, 29, was arrested July 22 in the 2300 block of N. Justin Avenue on charges of contempt.

In the 3300 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, an 18-year-old woman was arrested July 23 for allegedly making criminal threats.

On July 23, a 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 2800 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue.

At Royal Avenue and Madera Road, a 19-year-old male transient was arrested and charged with theft July 23.

In the 900 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, a 21-year-old woman was arrested July 23 on a battery charge.

At E. Los Angeles Avenue and Sycamore Drive, a 28-year-old man and a 25-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance July 23.

A woman, 44, was arrested July 23 in the 2900 block of Tapo Canyon Road and charged with attempted kidnapping.

At the Simi Valley Hospital in the 2900 block of Sycamore Drive, a 33year-old male transient was arrested July 23 and charged with battery against a peace officer.

On July 24, a 22-year-old man was arrested in the 4500 block of Alamo Street and charged with stealing a vehicle.

In the 5100 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, a 54-year-old man was arrested July 24 and charged with elder endangerment.

At Garden Grove Elementary School in the 2200 block of N. Tracy Avenue, an 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of an alcoholic beverage July 24.

A 30-year-old man was arrested July 24 in the 2000 block of Booth Street and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

At Madera Road and E. Los Angeles Avenue, a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and causing and injury accident July 24.

On July 25, officers responded to a call of an overdose in the 2100 block of Snowberry Court and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

In the 900 block of Enchanted Way, two 18-year-old men were arrested July 25 and charged with cutting down, destroying or injuring any kind of wood or timber growing on the lands of another.
