The Ventura County Fire Department has launched www.vcreadysetgo.org, a new website designed to give citizens information about wildfire preparedness, including the downloadable Wildfire Action Plan brochure.

The site is also the home of the department's Ready, Set, Go! wildfire preparedness program which teaches residents about defensible space, early evacuation, firesafe construction, fireresistant landscaping, disaster supply kits and what to take during an evacuation.
