The Simi Valley Senior Center will sponsor a trip to the Ventura County Fair in Ventura on Tues., Aug. 11.

A motorcoach will leave the center at 9:45 a.m. and arrive back at 4:30 p.m. Guests will explore the fair and have lunch on their own.

The cost is $20 and includes bus fare and fair admission.

A free "Cultural Connections" class meets from 1 to 4 p.m. every Tuesday at the center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

Participants may exchange creative thoughts about film, poetry and art.
