Ventura County visual artists may enter the sixth annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat. and Sun., Sept. 26 and 27 at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Mary and Richard Carpenter Plaza Park, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., and at The Lakes, the adjacent shopping center.

The event will feature more than 60 local visual arts exhibitors, live performances, art demonstrations, and children's interactive hands-on exhibits.

Application deadline is July 30.

Artists' booths are $275, with a $50 application fee. Tables, chairs and canopy are provided for each booth. Friday set-up is encouraged as overnight security is provided.

Festival admission is free for the public.
