Simi brothers tour Malaysia

Ryan and Tyler Sundee of Simi Valley participated in the Junior World Cup Field Hockey Tournament, which ran from June 7-21 in Malaysia.

Sophomore-to-be Tyler Sundee, 15, attends Simi Valley High, where he plays football, basketball and track and field.

Ryan Sundee, 20, attends Moorpark College.

The Sundee brothers competed for USA Field Hockey Men's Under-21 Team against 19 other squads around the world.

The United States lost to Singapore 3-1 in its final match, finishing 20th overall. Jon Ginolfi of Moorpark scored the only goal for the U.S.

Team USA qualified for the Junior World Cup by earning a bronze medal at the 2009 Junior Pan American Cup in February.
