The Women's Artistic Net work of Simi Valley is sponsoring the Carol E. Doering Poetry Contest in memory of the local poet and network member.

The contest is open to all poets. Prizes range from $50 to $100.

Entry fees are $5 per poem or $10 for three poems.

Submission deadline is Sept. 30.
