The Simi Valley Senior Center and Simi Valley Hospital will host a presentation on what grandparents need to know about their teenage grandchildren from 1 to 2 p.m. Wed., July 15 at the senior center, 3900 Avenida Simi.

Dr. Margaret Cheadle will discuss independence and maturity from both a teen and parent/ grandparent perspective and how those involved can survive this rite of passage.

A question-and-answer time will follow the lecture.
