'Shut up and Rock' at the Arena July 11

Simi Valleybased rock band Tuesday's Rain will present the inaugural Shut Up and Rock Suarez at 7 p.m. on Sat., July 11 at the Arena Sports Bar in the Grande Vista Hotel, 999 Enchanted Way, Simi Valley.

Special guests include newcomers Manzanita, an adult contemporary band also based in Simi Valley, and 27 Miles, a Southern-style rock band from Malibu.

Twentyfive percent of the proceeds will be given to the Noontime Rotary Club of Simi Valley to benefit local charities. The event includes raffle prizes, door prizes and a signed guitar giveaway.

The cover charge is $5 for pre-sale tickets and $10 at the door. A buffet dinner will be served at 7 p.m. for an additional $15.
