Simi Valley Town Center will present free weekly movies during the summer under its covered trellis at the east end of the mall.

The movies will be shown on a 24-foot portable screen every Monday from June 22 to Aug. 24 beginning at 8 p.m.

Visitors may bring picnic chairs, blankets and jackets. Food is available at eateries in the mall.

The program is offered in partnership with Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District. The movies are family-friendly and rated either PG or PG-13.

Schedule: June 29: "Twilight," July 6: "Ghostbusters," July 13: "The Bourne Ultimatum," July 20: "Back to the Future," July 17: "Quantum of Solace," Aug. 3: "Next," Aug. 10: "Transporter 3," Aug. 17: "High School Musical 3," Aug. 24: "Pirates of the Caribbean."
