Grace Brethren's finest honored by Frontier League
Kassy Dunn of Grace Brethren High is the Frontier League's Most Valuable Player in softball.
Dunn led the Lancers to a Frontier championship and the third round of the CIFSouthern Section Division VI playoffs this season.
In her first year at the helm for Grace Brethren, softball skipper Norma Skinner is Coach of the Year.
Other Grace Brethren athletes were named All-Frontier League in their respective sports.
Danielle Fletcher, Rhianna Topp and Brianne Lundgren are first-team players in softball.
Jackie Elliott, Jamie Garcia, Tayler Suterko and Jena Conley are second-team selections. Cayley Dishman is an honorable mention shortstop.
In baseball, Chris Meyers, Nick Schmidt, Matt Riley and Nate Rushing are firstteam selections. Kevin Ramay is a second-team player. Honorable mention nods go to Jack Gilliland and Jordan Hardisty.
Marshall Walter is Coach of the Year in boys' golf.
Cameron Dishman, Branden Casillas and Luke Bender are on the first team. Dustin Marvin is a second-team selection. Ryan Marme and Tommy Houghtalin are honorable mention players.
