Masashi Shikai Sensei is the head instructor at Chuo Kendo Dojo in Los Angeles.

In the 13th World Kendo Championship in Taiwan in 2006, Shikai and Nemeti served as manager and trainer of Team USA.

During this championship and for the first time in history of kendo, Team USA defeated the previously undefeated Japanese National Kendo Team, the title holder for the first 12 world championships.

Chuo Kendo Dojo was founded in 1936 to cultivate and expand kendo, which is the ancient traditional form of samurai fencing, and the Japanese culture.

Through extensive training, the dojo seeks to advance the spiritual, mental and physical characters of its students.
