June 21 is Father's Day, and the Simi Valley Acorn is again inviting you to take out pen, pencil or crayon and draw a picture of dear old Dad.

Using the template in the ad on page 14, draw a picture of what your father looks like and send it to The Acorn Newspapers, 30423 Canwood St., Ste. 108, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. You can also scan your drawing and send an email to svdads@theacorn.com.

Dad, don't take it personally. If you've got really big ears, it just means you're a good listener. If your hair isn't quite right, maybe it's because it isn't there anymore. It's the thought that counts.

Dads are special. Show yours you care by taking part in this year's "Let's Draw Dad" tribute as explained on page 14.

The deadline is Wed., June 10. Submissions will be published on a first-come basis.
