Two Simi Valley residents were recently arrested as the result of an investigation regarding counterfeiting money, according to police reports.

Detectives from the Simi Valley Police Department and the U.S. Secret Service served a warrant at 7:30 a.m. May 14 at 4142 Felipe Lane in response to an ongoing counterfeit currency investigation.

Counterfeit money has been passed to local businesses recently. Police believed that counterfeit money was being manufactured from this residence.

Dennis Walters II, 44, is suspected of making fraudulent money and passing the fake money to Felicia Fradkin, 38, for goods and services throughout Simi Valley. Both Walters and Fradkin lived at the residence.

While serving the warrant, a small amount of illegal narcotics were seized. No one was injured during the search.

This is the second warrant executed by the Detective Unit for the making of counterfeit money within the past six weeks. Police are continuing the investigation.
