A Simi Valley man was arrested recently on charges of selling heroin from his home.

The Simi Valley Police Department Narcotic Unit and the Ventura County Sheriff's Department East County Narcotic Street Team concluded a monthlong joint investigation by serving a search warrant in the 2400 block of Burlingham Place.

Seyed "Kyle" Majedi, 29, was arrested without incident after authorities seized approximately 37 grams of heroin packaged for sale, five firearms, ammunition, and about $18,000 in cash.

Majedi was booked into Ventura County Jail on the charge of felony possession for sale of a controlled substance. His bail is set at $300,000.

Majedi is to appear in court on Monday.
