Group will address council regarding barking dogs
My previous letter concerning barking dogs in Simi Valley resulted in a very good response from residents. Now we have a new county director of Animal Control. This is an encouraging sign for the county of Ventura.
I intend to address the Simi Valley City Council on Mon., May 11 on this issue of constantly barking dogs. I invite all people to attend this meeting and lend their voices and complaints to the City Council in regards to this serious issue.
I would like to personally invite Tina Allegra, senior code enforcement officer of Simi, to attend since she has been so helpful in this matter. I also extend this invitation to new Animal Control Director Monica Nolan as well as to Supervisor Peter Foy, who I have been unable to reach.
I am urging all citizens who have a barking dog problem to attend the council meeting on May 11 at City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, across from the library. The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., so I urge you to be a little early to sign up to speak or just turn in a note on this issue. Jules Rabalais Simi Valley
