Mystery authors panel, signing

Sisters in Crime/Los Angeles, an international support group for mystery writers, will present a panel discussion with three mystery authors from 2 to 4 p.m. Sat., May 16 at the Grant Brimhall/ Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road.

The panelists are Laura Levine, sitcom writer and author of the Jaine Austen mystery series; Bruce Cook, independent film director and author of both the Sam Haine mysteries and "Blood Harvest"; and screenwriter/author Robert Fate, whose first book, "Baby Shark," has been optioned by a film company.

After the discussion the authors will be available to sign their books, which will be on sale at the event.

The program is free and open to the public.
